The house in Jindalee is designed to be a low budget architect’s interpretation of a project home.
Conceptually, this house is based around the idea of the heavy black box resting on a slender white plinth. It is designed primarily around thermal efficiency through the houses relationship with the East/West orientated block and will explore the use of new water harvesting technologies.
The main view to the ocean is taken advantage of through a subtraction in the black box, providing the clients with a private balcony.
